Each one of us has hopes and dreams. The question, "For what end are my hopes and dreams?" For the most part, even for followers of Jesus, it is for self. It is for our comfort, security, and glory. This is true for churches as well. May this not be true of us in 2011.
May the comfort I receive be from the Lord knowing that He loves me.
May the security I experience is knowing that I am in His hands.
May the glory, all of it, go to Him.
May the Lord bless you with His presence this coming year.

Bob, thanks for the reminder!
It is a war to die to self! Only by God's grace can we grow to desire God's glory more than our own.
